Our trip to the beach

Last Thursday, was a beautiful, sunny day here in Aber. Days like that don't come very often, so when they do it makes us appreciate them more. Thankfully, I had a better day in terms of morning sickness so we walked down to the beach and enjoyed some ice cream while we sat in the sun! Chris took the last picture later in the day when the sunset was amazing.

Misc

Chris is working on his Master's exhibition, and he's illustrating the Holy War by John Bunyan. Someone let him borrow some chain mail that they had so he wanted me to take a picture of him "getting in to character" to help him get a better idea of what it looks like for his paintings.
You can see a little corner of our messy house behind him. This is how it's been for the last couple of weeks with my morning sickness.

This is about the story of my recent life....I was really appreciating Chris taking a picture of me. Morning sickness has been horrible! I'll be so glad when this phase is over. So far, food has been my worst enemy. There are very few things that sound good to me. I haven't really been able to do any cooking because I just feel too sick to be in the kitchen. This week has been better, and I've been able to gradually get back to working my normal hours, at least I'm going to try to do that this week. I've been able to eat more and keep more down which is always good! Chris has been wonderful through it all and has happily taken up extra duties on top of all the ones he already has.

Hello everyone! We just wanted to share a bit of exciting news with everybody. I'm sure most of you already know by now because things like this tend to spread like wild fire. Anyway, I'm pregnant!! We're so happy and feel so blessed. I'm only about 6 weeks along, but the wave of morning sickness is on the horizon and is approaching rapidly, I fear. So far, it's been manageable, but we'll see as the weeks progress. It's very exciting to be just behind my sister in her pregnancy. She's already 3 months along so I think she's hit the worst of the morning sickness already. I'll try and post some new pictures if we get a chance to take any, but for now that's it for our news!
