Our Little Princess

We had our 20 week appointment and ultrasound on Monday, and yep, you guessed it, it's a girl!! We apologize in advance to the baby if the ultrasound tech is wrong because she couldn't be 100% sure. The baby seems to be nice and healthy, and we're both so happy! I'm feeling her kick a lot more lately which is great and my belly tells me she's growing right on
schedule too :o)! Sorry about the quality of the pictures. They're never really good to start out with, and I just wanted to get them up quickly so I took a picture of them. If I get a chance I might scan them in and put better ones up, but that's it for now!

Nanny(that's what Chris's mom wants to be called) couldn't resist this little pink jacket as soon as she heard that we were having a girl!

This is our new stroller and car-seat that Chris was putting together once we got back from our trip. His family is storing it for us until the baby comes.

My favorite thing for the baby is our Baby Bjorn carrier. It's the Active one so it has really good back support. My parents and grandparents bought it for us when we were there.

AMERICA!!!

We just got back last week from a wonderful vacation in America. We got to stay for two weeks and as always it went by too fast. We planned to just try and spend most of the time with the family because we know how quickly time flies. To those of you who we didn't get to see, we just wish we had more time. My mom and sisters, and I did lots of baby shopping and I was spoiled with pretty much a suitcase full of baby things. It was nice to be able to get some of the things we will need for cheaper.

Just to say at the outset...I hope you're not all overwhelmed by the amount of pictures! Our blog really is like our family picture album so sometimes it's for our sakes that we post so many pictures. We rarely ever actually get photos printed, sadly. I guess that's one of the downsides to digital technology....

--Volleyball

These were a bunch of pictures that my mom took of us playing volleyball after we had got out of the pool. We were trying to get a nice rally going, but didn't always succeed. It was nice being able to do some sort of sport while being pregnant!

Liz was serenading us on her guitar. She's written tons of songs and music since she's started playing. Keep up the good work Liz!

--Chores

We had a great time helping doing some outside chores around the house on Saturday while we were there. Chris had his first experience weed-eating. We had to make sure he had all the proper gear on! It was hilarious.

--Golf

My dad has just started getting in to golf in the last six months or so. John, Chris, and him seemed to try and get a game in whenever they could get a chance. It was really nice for them to have something fun to do together. Mark even got to join in on a game when he had the chance. It was funny, Chris and John would try and get as much practice as they could at home before they would go out on the golf course.

--Matt and Regan and the girls

Matt and Regan came up for the day and we're really enjoyed our time with them. It was great to see Madison and Ava too.

We met my little niece Ava for the first time. Here she is spending some quality time with Uncle Chris.

My little cousin Zach came up to make sure he got in on the fun!
