We had a really nice day Friday for my birthday. I had the day off work and Chris was home too. He brought me breakfast in bed and we had a nice relaxing morning. For lunch, we went to Ultracomida, the Spanish cafe/delicatessen that we've posted pictures of before. The food was delicious as always. After lunch we went shopping around town, and I got a few nice things for my birthday.
I had a baguette with goat's cheese, roasted peppers and a crushed olive sort of sauce.
Chris had chicken and chorizo paella with lemon and really nice seasonings.
We had a delicious dessert that was like an orange creme brulee(that's the best way I can describe it). We also had a cup of their famous spanish hot chocolate that is so thick you eat it with a spoon.
On Saturday night, we went to our friends' Gerwyn and Ronda's for dinner. They made a special birthday cake for me as a surprise. These were just few shots of their daughters Gwennan and Catrin with Chris and I.
