Friend's Wedding, Father's Day, and a Backlog of Photos

Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy...

One thing I realized, after uploading these pictures, is that our camera lense desperately needed to be cleaned. I think we have Sarah to thank for that :o). Anyway, sorry about some of the blurry pictures.

As I'm sure you'll see in some of these pictures, Sarah is a little poser for the camera now. It's so cute, although we might not like it as much when she gets older :o).

I got some more, super cheap frames from the thrift store and painted them

for Sarah's room. I got the Charlie and Lola pictures from a book.

A few fun things we put together for Chris for Father's Day.

At the reception...

They put together a little party bag for Sarah with stuff to color and some

candy and things. It was so sweet of them, and it kept her busy for awhile.

Sarah was running around everywhere (later on at the reception) with this huge balloon. You can imagine her bumping in to everyone as she squeezed through people's legs.

her around when she's holding her.

odds and ends

Sarah is getting so big and we're noticing more and more new things that she's doing or saying. She says no, yeah, door, milk, please, food, drink, hiya(for hi), bye bye, car, and other things in her own way. We've taught her some sign language too and she can sign, please, thank you, more, milk, food, her own sign for car, and I can't think of what else. She tries to repeat some words that we say too. I just want to jot these things down so I can look back and have a record. She's also coming in to the terrible two's at 19 months old. She's strong willed and we've had to deal with temper tantrums. It's no surprise though, and it's teaching us patience.

I have some more pictures hopefully to come soon of the Iliff's visit last week. They helped us so much on the house and we were able to get a lot done. Thank you Iliff's!

Pictures

When I looked at our blog and realized the last update I gave was from when we were at the Iliffs, I thought it was high time that I post some more pictures. I'm sorry they are just a conglomeration of pictures from the last few weeks and nothing very exciting. A lot of our spare time has been sent at the new house, trying to get it ready to move in. You'll see some pictures of the inside of the house in this post. It's a slow process, but slowly and surely things are getting done. We still don't really have a time frame, but we'd like to think we'll be moving in the next month or so. Other than that, things are pretty much same ol' same ol'. Chris has been trying to get some more illustration jobs, because things aren't looking great at the shop, but we're learning a lot and getting used to working with a tighter budget, learning to depend on the Lord more and more. Sarah's still growing by leaps and bounds and recently she's really been finding her voice. Well, let's hope it's not another month before I post again...I'll try and take more pictures and post more often!

I keep meaning to introduce you all to our sweet little guinea pigs, Annie and Jessie. We got them when Liz was here, and Sarah loves them. They're pretty low maintenance and they're great to have around with a toddler.

She likes to try and feed them carrots, while I usually try

and clean their cage out.

The next few are boring, just thought some would like

to see the inside of the house.
