Now, excuses, excuses :o). Why have we fallen off the face of the earth for the last two months? I know I'm not usually very good at regular updates, but not usually THIS bad.
First, as many of you know, we've moved. Even though it's been over a month since we moved, our internet provider has been "off the ball" to say the least. On two different occasions, they were supposed to come out and get it working, but the most we've had it was about two days. We've had to borrow our neighbor's internet so we've been limited as to what we can do. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll have our own and you'll have a shipload of pictures that I need to upload.
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, Sarah is going to be a big sister! Yes, I'm pregnant! I'm 11 weeks today and the baby is due March 28. If you look back on posts from when I was pregnant with Sarah, the news will be just the same or worse. Once again I've had pretty bad morning sickness and it's not been fun. In the beginning I had some really bad headaches which I don't remember having with Sarah. Now it's just feeling sick most of the time. I try and stay in bed as long as possible in the morning and usually feel ok when I first get up, but it seems to gradually get worse as the day progresses. Late afternoons and evenings are rotten. Throwing up at least once a day is pretty common. Providentially, Chris doesn't start his new job at the university until October so he's been around a lot more. He's been amazing as usual and has pretty much taken up anything to do with the kitchen, along with lots of other housework. Sarah is so flexible and even if some days are spent getting up and down from the couch beside Mommy and playing by herself, she doesn't seem to mind. We try and go outside every day, rain or shine, at least for a little fresh air and for her to get her energy out.
She's becoming such a little girl so quickly before our eyes. I'm sure I already mentioned she's in a big bed now. A couple of times, lately she gets up by herself and comes downstairs before we're even up. Usually Chris and I just find her sitting on the couch with her blankie and dummy(pacifier) with a blanket over her lap. She brings such a smile to our faces. She seems to know to point to my tummy now when we say, "where is baby?" It's pretty cute. Sometimes she gives it kisses too.
Thanks for all the prayers as I know lots of you already know! Sorry it's taken this long to let everyone know. Believe it or not, the news still hasn't made it under the facebook radar. I'm sure it will soon enough! There's something nice about being able to tell family and close friends first before they hear about it through something like facebook. Love to everybody!
